Born in 2002 - our last dun mare (with a lovely wide brow & golden coat) was purchased in 2006 from Connemara. She carries the most wonderful old Irish bloodlines including Abbeyleix Owen, Erislannan Hollyhock & Westside Mirah.

Her dam, Glenmore Kelly's Owen, came 2nd in the All Ireland loose Jumping as a 3yr old, achieved premium mare status in 2002 and won the All-Ireland broodmare championship in 2005.   She is still actively showing, taking the Supreme Championship at the Royal Dublin Show and also at Balmoral.   Her sire, Castleside JJ - who is now standing in Sweden - and grandsire Westside Mirah both showjumped at Grade A level in Ireland, and progeny by both sire and grandsire are always sought after.  Many of their breeding compete very successfully & youngsters can often be seen at the loose jumping final in Clifden.   To give her the extra edge, she also has the Sparrow jumping line in her pedigree through Cuchulainn, a very successful showjumper and sire during his short life.

All Nell’s foals are lovely laid back characters with athleticism, straight movement and have scope to burn.
