Nancy was born in 2002, our only English bred dun mare bought in the spring of 2005. She is smaller than the Irish bred mares at 13.1hh, of good Millfields breeding going back to Wisbridge Golden Rebel on her sire's side and Rory Ruadh on her dam's side.

She has a finer head and a lighter bone structure than the other mares, which probably comes from the influence of Clonkeehan Auratum in her breeding, as he was known to produce that extra bit of quality and refinement.   She has very extravagant paces at trot, elevating herself  and lengthening her stride, showing excellent movement and carriage, which she passes on to her foals.

Although she is a smaller mare, she does produce a beautiful foal of quality and substance - all her foals to date grown larger than Nancy.
