RARE PERLINO COLT - WITH STALLION POTENTIAL
Jonjo is bred from the best old Irish bloodlines, by Grianagh Petrus - grandsire Ormond Oliver - out of Carraig Cailin, dam Castle Cailin Ard who was Reserve Champion at the Clifden Show 2010, and granddam Castle Dame - dam of Castle Comet.
Even at this early age, Jonjo is proving to be a character, and very independent. From two days old he has cantered along the headland in his field with his dam in tow - a true colt! He is happy to come forward and ask for scratches, and this bold nature will give him a head start in life.
Jonjo is of the same stamp as his four siblings - a true Irish type with a tremendous depth of chest and presence.

He also carries the sought-after Sparrow bloodlines from both dam and sire pedigrees. Lovely head, good bone, substance and presence, with straight paces & powrful movement.

A QUALITY FOAL WITH IMPECCABLE CONNEMARA BLOODLINES -
A TRUE-TO-TYPE PONY FOR THE FUTURE - to make 14.2hh

THE PERFECT COLOUR TO BREED THE DUN COLOUR
Because Jonjo’s dam & sire are buckskin & he is perlino, he carries two cream genes - often called a double dilute -
and has the agouti (bay) extension in the background, hence his rusty coloured mane and tail.
Therefore, he does NOT carry any grey genes,! Also - if he stayed entire - he would be ideal to cross with bay mares as he would produce 100% buckskin offspring,

Pinta - sold 2011
NOT A CONNEMARA PONY -
BUT A TRUE ZEBRA DUN!
Pinta is a 15.1hh 12 yr old mare belonging to my daughter Lynsey. Out of an Argentinian Criollo pony by an IDxTB, she is more pony than horse to ride.
We have had her for 5 years, bought from a natural horsemanship yard who broke her in through join-up demos - and before that she had a foal, so she did not start work until she was 7 yrs old. She has been through Pony Club and camp with Lynsey, done a little competing and one or two hunting outings (although she did not stand too well there!), lots of enjoyable hacking out and pleasurable riding. She is good in traffic & stable, with farrier, to handle, clip, load and any other activity around the yard - she has no vices and is a very pleasant person to have around the stable.
She is very well schooled, comfortable jumping around
2ft 9” or so and has recently competed Riding Club Elementary dressage - although lengthened strides are tough for her! She has done cross country but can find bigger solid jumps a bit daunting sometimes, but is fun to jump logs and things whilst out riding.
Pinta is a lovely girl with a kind & generous nature, a good doer and easy to look after. She has no nastiness at all and is a joy to handle. She would be ideal for a rider who does not want a world-beater but a horse to hack out and enjoy low-key competition & many other activities - in safety & with pleasure.
Lynsey is so very sad to have to sell her, but she is away at University now and although I have been riding Pinta for quite a while, I am finding that the connemara’s are taking up more & more time - and I have my colt to back and ride this winter.......... unfortunately, something has to give!

CLASSY CHOCOLATE
DUN FILLY - WITH SHOW QUALITY
Tully is strong and beautifully proportioned, and carries wonderful old Irish breeding through Hazel Dun to Thunderbolt, and through Ashfield Mactalla to Ormond Oliver as well as the sought-after Sparrow jumping lines through Wise Sparrow (the dam of the great European International jumping sire Ashfield Bobby Sparrow)

Even at this early age you can see she is well put together with a good straight action & bone. She has no white on her, with the exception of a tiny star on her forehead, and should make a beautiful true-to-type youngster for the showring. Of course, with her fantastic Connemara jumping bloodlines, she also has the potential to do well in both working hunter & showjumping classes - and more!

Dark dun like her dam, she exudes quality and will wow the judges in the show ring! Her lovely paces will always give her the edge over her rivals, and for breeding, she has the bloodlines to produce a cracking foal.
She will make around 14.2hh..
You can see in the two video clips her most exceptional trot. She is so well balanced it is easy for her to produce, time after time, that wonderful expression in her movement, that metronome rhythm and beautiful cadence as she trots round the field! Such a natural asset, but one that will definitely make her a winner in competition - WHP, showjumping, eventing, dressage and more!
TULLY OOZES QUALITY -
SHE IS VERY SPECIAL & UNQUESTIONABLY HAS A GREAT FUTURE!

STUNNING GOLDEN DUN COLT
with the best jumping & old Irish
Connemara bloodlines, impressive conformation and wonderful temperament.
His really remarkable Jumping lines come thru Wise Sparrow (dam of great European International jumping sire Ashfield Bobby Sparrow), as well as Westside Mirah (world renowned stallion for top jumping ponies) whose son Castleside JJ (his dam by Cuchulainn) won the 5yr old Discovery at Millstreet, and is now standing at stud in Sweden.
His old Irish breeding comes through the great sires Cloonisle Cashel & Mervyn Kingsmill - his sire Killary Cashel is a show winner in-hand and under saddle, and his dam has produced many champions under saddle and she herself is a premium mare.

He has a lovely sensible temperament, wonderful action & straight movement with excellent bone and stamp. He will mature into a lovely quality pony, to make around 14.2hh, and a great competition pony.
A perfect temperament with a gentle, kind and well mannered nature - even as a colt!
Ferdie has matured in both mind and body since weaning, becoming much bolder, more inquisitive and active. In the second video clip you can see him lengthening his stride and getting into a great rhythm. He has produced that trot many times recently - almost as if he has just found the right button to press and now finds it so easy! He is athletic & balanced, genuine & kind, and a lovely little chap to handle. With his excellent bloodlines and charming character, he will make a super WHP/showing pony.

Like all the foals I have bred out of October Gold, he has the same laid back temperament to life. He is a little shy in coming forward, but once there he is quite happy to go along with what is wanted with no reluctance. This will ensure that he copes with life well, especially if he does go into competition, as he will not be fazed by anything out of the ordinary and always be ready and willing to oblige - whatever is asked of him

RARE PERLINO COLT WITH STUNNING ACTION & PRESENCE
This quality colt carries not only the excellent Millfield bloodlines from his dam but also the Sparrow jumping pedigree from his sire. A lovely compact pony type who carries himself really well, and will mature into a great riding & competition pony with exceptional paces.

His lovely wide brow is typical of the Connemara pony, and his
upstanding carriage shows a proud youngster with a cheeky face!
His most exceptional movement will make him stand out from the crowd -
just look at the pictures to see the expression he puts into his trot - you can see he gets his presence from his dam, who has produced some fine foals. She always throws her quality, and her only two other colts are still entire, their owners looking to put them forward for grading.

In the two video clips you can see his presence - however, you must look through the dirt! Sorry! - he stands with his head held high, with lovely carriage. He has a very sweet nature with lots of character, and he listens during training so is coming to hand well. His temperament helps him learn quickly and he is understanding what I am asking of him, even at this early stage in his learning.
He will be great for jumping and competition as he’s keen to get on, quick to think, athletic & agile to do but does listen & respond - the ideal combination. Alternatively, he would make a lovely driving pony - his cream colour against black harness, his active action and proud bearing between the shafts - would make a great impression!
He will make around 14.1hh and could be kept entire. He does not carry a grey gene, and being double dilute for cream with agouti (bay gene) he would always throw duns if put to a bay mare.
